Ohio State runaway favorite to win Big Ten East according to BetMGM

BetMGM has updated its odds of winning each Big Ten division. Ohio State is a runaway favorite over even the 2nd best odds. See them here.

Now that the Big Ten season is back, some of the oddsmakers and sportsbook sites are updating and recycling some of the college football futures out there. One of those popular online sportsbooks includes BetMGM .

It has already installed Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields as one of the main frontrunners for the Heisman Trophy. It has included OSU on the shortlist of teams to make the College Football Playoff.

The latest update from BetMGM has to do with the odds to win each Big Ten Division this fall, and the Buckeyes are favored there as well. In fact, it’s a bit of a runaway when you look at where things stand.

Ohio State is favored by a wide margin at -304 odds, followed by Michigan (not Penn State) at +300. Penn State is next at +600, then Michigan State (+2500), Indiana (+3500), and Maryland (+6500). Rutgers is not included.

But what about the West Division? It is closer with Wisconsin leading the way at +150, followed by Iowa (+225), Nebraska (+300), Minnesota (+550), Purdue (+2000), Illinois (+3000), and Northwestern (+4000)

Let’s hope these odds shake out and Ohio State takes home at least a share of its ninth-straight East Division crown, heads to Indy, and makes good on a fourth-straight Big Ten Championship.

But why stop there? Let’s head on down to Miami and take care of national title business as well.
