There seems to be a bit of a change going on with Ohio State and recruiting Ohioans. Part of it has to do with the talent level in the state, with the upcoming classes having plenty of national prospects.
Another is the fact that other schools have started to make some inroads with Ohio prospects. The Buckeyes still own the state and their recent run of offers show they want that to continue.
Over the past week, head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] has offered talented in-state players like receiver Dorian Brew and twin offensive lineman [autotag]Devontae Armstrong[/autotag] and [autotag]Deontae Armstrong[/autotag]. Today the trend continued as Ohio State offered 2025 in-state running back Marquise Davis.

The Cleveland native is seeing his recruitment pick up as he previously held offers from Penn State, Michigan State, and a few others. This one is different as Davis has impressed the state’s powerhouse program enough to get a scholarship offer.
