Do you like where Ohio State is in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll? #GoBucks

The latest US LBM Coaches Poll has been released and there is a bit of good news for Ohio State football fans.

By now you know that the Buckeyes had a rather sizeable win over the weekend with a victory over the No. 3 ranked Penn State Nittany Lions by a score of 20-13. It improved the Buckeyes’ record to 7-1 and handed Penn State its first loss of the season.

It was the type of performance we’ve been waiting for and there were even points left on the field that could have made the margin of victory even more.

Now that the weekend slate of games are done and all the results are in, there has been some movement in the latest poll with Ohio State rising one spot to No. 3 because of the win over Penn State.

Just ahead of the Buckeyes are No. 1 Oregon and No. 2 Georgia. Behind OSU and rounding out the top ten are Miami (Fl) (4), Texas (5), Tennessee (6), Penn State (7), Notre Dame (8), BYU (9), and Indiana (10).

The rest of the poll also has some movement with four Big Ten teams appearing inside the top 25.
