The focus for [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] football for much of the remainder of the 2024 recruiting cycle is going to be on defense.
Multiple prospects are strongly considering the Buckeyes, and some are local products. Cincinnati cornerback [autotag]Terhyon Nichols[/autotag] announced his final six schools, and Ohio State made the cut.
There is a Midwest feel to his six contenders, as Nichols seems to want to stay fairly close to home at his next stop.
The 6-foot, 180-pound defender is ranked as the No. 29 cornerback and No. 329 player overall on the 247Sports composite. That puts Nichols as a four-star prospect.
Nichols has not yet scheduled an official visit to Columbus. If one gets put on the calendar, the chances of a verbal will go up. The relationship between him and the Buckeye coaching staff has ramped up recently, especially considering his offer came just a few weeks ago.
Absolutely blessed to be in this position !!
Thank you to all the coaches that took time to recruit and build relationships with me . π€πΎ
