During the early signing period, Ohio State landed one of the most highly rated and best overall classes in its recruiting history. And the Buckeyes are looking to add more.
The Ohio State football class is currently ranked No. 2 behind Alabama according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and all verbal commitments signed on early signing day as they said they would. This is stacking up to be one heck of a haul for the Buckeyes.
But there is still a big prize on the table and the Bucks have their eyes on snagging another defensive lineman for Larry Johnson to tutor. J.T. Tuimoloau is ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the 2021 class according to 247sports and would be a homerun for Ohio State.
Tuimoloau recently listed his top five and the Buckeyes are still in the race, along with some other heavy hitters in Alabama, USC, Oregon, and Washington.
Down to 5…
Nothing but blessings🙏🏽@AJTuimoloau pic.twitter.com/T3aivwtk75— Jaylahn Tuimoloau (@JT_tuimoloau) December 16, 2020
Tuimoloau is expected to sign on the traditional signing day in February and Ohio State has long been seen as the team to beat by most crystal ball predictions. It certainly helps to have fellow alums from the state of Washington in Gee Scott Jr. and freshly signed Emeka Egbuka.
Hopefully, Tuimoloua will be the next in line of great Ohio State Rushmen.
