Ohio State lands class of 2021’s top receiver Emeka Ebuka

Ohio State got a big one Friday with the commitment of 2021 five-star wide-receiver Emeka Ebuka out of the state of Washington.

Ohio State added to its monster 2021 class today with the addition of the top-rated receiver in the class, and No. 9 overall recruit according to the 247Sports Composite Ratings, five-star prospect Emeka Ebuka.

What has been an almost two-year courtship ended today because of the relationship Ebuka has built with the Ohio State coaching staff. There were some concerns late as the 6-foot, 1-inch, 190-pounder was adamant about visiting Oklahoma before he made a decision. That occurred last week to a bunch of fanfare from the Sooners’ players and media, but in the end, Ebuka stayed with where he had thought to be leaning all along.

With the commitment, Ohio State now has 21 commits in a class that is rated No. 2 overall according to the 247Sports. OSU will now be looking at closing in on Alabama, with the watch for another five-star prospect, defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau as the next big fish.
