After getting a slew of commitments in March and April, just when the NCAA imposed a dead period on certain recruiting activities, news began to slow down a little bit for Ohio State recruiting. On this Sunday of Memorial Day weekend though, the Buckeyes have just landed another highly-sought after prospect for the 2021 class.
According to an announcement on his Twitter profile, four-star defensive back Denzel Burke out of Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, AZ will be attending Ohio State.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Burke is the No. 7 rated athlete and a top 200 recruit in the class. His verbal makes a total of 18 hard commitments for Ohio State’s 2021 class, and continues the separation as easily the No. 1 class in the country according to 247Sports.

Burke chose Ohio State over his four other finalists USC, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. This continues to shape up to be one whale of a recruiting class for Ryan Day and gang.
