Ohio State included in top 12 of in-state high priority cornerback target

The Buckeyes would love to see him stay home #GoBucks

In recent years, [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] has been very selective in recruiting in-state players. The 2024 class has been no different, though there have been more offers than in recent years.

One of those went to Springfield’s [autotag]Aaron Scott[/autotag]. The 6-foot, 170-pound cornerback has been very active with visits this spring, recently visiting Columbus and Notre Dame.

With Scott inching toward a decision, he released his top 12 schools on Sunday. Ohio State made the list. He is a top target for the Buckeyes, considering he’s a top-100 player, No. 71 nationally by the 247Sports composite and right in their backyard.

Scott has not made a decision on when he will make a commitment, but Ohio State has to like its chances.

He’s even being recruited by five-star Buckeye wide receiver commitment Jeremiah Smith to stay home.

Hopefully, he more than hears Smith’s attempt for him to stay in Ohio.
