Ohio State football offers nation’s top 2022 recruit

Ohio State has gotten in on the recruiting game of the country’s top 2022 recruit, defensive end Sherman Stewart.

The Ohio State football program has pushed its chips into the middle of the recruiting table with the country’s top recruit in the 2022 cycle. After already putting together one whale of a 2021 class — one that far outpaces every other school at this point — the Buckeyes now appear to be getting a jump on the next class as well.

Sherman Stewart is a six-foot, five-inch, 236-pound defensive end out of Opa Locka, Florida and is ranked as the top defensive end and overall recruit in the entire 2022 class according to 247Sports. He currently has offers from all of the Florida schools as well as the likes of LSU, Penn State, Georgia, Michigan, and Notre Dame. There will be more.

It’s still early on in the recruitment here, and as news becomes available, we’ll continue to follow it.
