Black stripe alert! Ohio State has had as much success as anyone going into the deep south and luring some of the nation’s best to head north to Columbus. One of those from the 2023 class, Kayden McDonald, has been impressive during fall camp and has lost his black stripe.
McDonald is a Georgia native who grew up near Athens, home to the Georgia Bulldogs. However, the Dawgs were not a finalist in his recruitment. Ultimately, the big defensive tackle picked the Buckeyes over the likes of Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Clemson who was actually thought to be the favorite to land the four-star prospect.

It sounds like the newest member of the Brotherhood is making an impact and making plays during fall camp. McDonald will add nice depth to a position group that will rotate guys in and out often during the season.
