Ohio State football 2021 draft comparisons – Offensive lineman Wyatt Davis

Here are our former NFL and Ohio State alum draft comparisons for offensive guard Wyatt Davis.

Davis’ best Buckeye Comparison: Rob Sims

Sims played both guard and tackle during his time at Ohio State and was a fantastic staple for the Buckeyes, but Davis is better. Sims was drafted in the fourth round of the 2006 draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He was a starter for Seattle during his second season and was traded to the Detroit Lions in 2010 where he remained until 2014 as a solid starter.

Davis has the potential to be a much better player in the NFL than Sims did, but they are both highly intelligent players that are seemingly aware of all blitzes and stunts. Davis is a much better athlete than Sims was and should allow him to have a more decorated professional career.
