Ohio State five-star RB commit TreVeyon Henderson “working hard” on selling other recruits

Ohio State has lost a little momentum in recruiting as of late, but five-star RB commit TreVeyon Henderson is “working hard” to change that.

Ohio State had one heck of a March, April, and May in the world of big-time college football recruiting. All told, nine of the nineteen commitments for the 2021 class announced their verbal decisions during a three-month momentum building haul that has resulted in the nation’s top class for 2021 so far. Seven of those were either four or five-star recruits according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Since then though, it’s been a little quieter than what anyone expected. Some targets that Ohio State had a good shot at landing went elsewhere. What likely hurt the most were Five-star offensive lineman J.C. Latham committing to Alabama, and four-star tight end Hudson Wolfe choosing Tennessee.

But never fear. Five-star running back TreVeyon Henderson and other 2021 commitments are already apparently working hard on helping out with recruiting efforts on some other big names that have yet to make a decision. In fact, Henderson had a message for Buckeye fans.

Now, what we are to take from this is uncertain. Does it mean there’s a commitment coming up, or that there’s just a lot of energy and effort going in on others to try and sell the program?

We’re not sure, but sometimes the players already committed to a program can have a big impact on where kids that are on the fence land. There’s still some room in the 2021 class, and here’s to feeling pretty good about a good closing kick for Ohio State.
