Ohio State finishes 2020 NFL draft with second most picks of any school

The Ohio State football program finished the 2020 NFL Draft with the second most picks of any other school with ten.

Ohio State has always been a beast when it comes to churning out players to the next level. The Buckeyes didn’t have the most players taken in the 2020 NFL Draft, but it was a close second.

LSU took the crown this year with a whopping 14 players (tied for the most with Ohio State in 2014), but in second place was a Buckeye program that has had the most NFL draft picks since the year 2000. Ohio State was tied with Michigan of all programs with ten players a piece taken through the seven rounds of the draft.

The double-digit draft picks is just the sixth time in program history that ten or more players have been selected — joining the aforementioned 2014, as well as the 1971 and 1975 drafts that had 13,  the 2016 draft with 12, and 1976 with eleven.

Behind second place with Ohio State and Michigan were Alabama (9), Clemson (7), Florida (7), and Georgia (7).

Yes, the beat goes on for the NFL football factory that is Ohio State.
