Ohio State baseball’s weekend series vs. Minnesota postponed

According to an announcement from the Ohio State baseball program, the weekend series against Minnesota has been postponed.

There will be no Buckeye baseball this weekend. The program announced on Twitter that the weekend series against the Minnesota Golden Gophers has been postponed.

“This weekend’s series in Minneapolis has been postponed,” the announcement read. “The decision was mutually agreed upon by both teams due to COVID health and safety concerns within the Minnesota program.”

As it stands, Ohio State sits in seventh place in the Big Ten, 1/2 game behind Rutgers, and just a game and 1/2 behind Iowa and Maryland for fourth place. The Buckeyes are currently four games behind conference leader Indiana.

There is no reschedule of the series yet, but continue to check back at OhioStateBuckeyes.com and with us when new dates are confirmed. All games matter at this point because the teams are so bunched up. It should make for an exciting finish to the Big Ten baseball season.
