The[autotag]Ohio State baseball[/autotag] team is really starting to hit their stride. Since losing to California on March 4, the Buckeyes have reeled off wins over Oklahoma, three over Cal State Bakersfield, Marshall and two against Dayton.

The win today over the Flyers, 12-8, the seventh in a row, puts the Buckeyes’ season record at 11-6 in [autotag]Bill Mosiello[/autotag]’s first season as the head coach.

Although OSU has yet to play a conference game, it’ll have two more games on the state until Ohio State faces Indiana next weekend. So far, the Buckeyes have shown they can win a game in multiple ways.

Today it was the bats, as they needed every one of those twelve runs, to get the victory. Outfielder [autotag]Trey Lipsey[/autotag] led the charge, going 3-of-5 with 6 RBI and three runs scored. The biggest hit was this blast with the game still tight in the bottom of the seventh.

Before the Buckeyes travel to take on the Hoosiers, they will host Wright State on Tuesday evening and Toledo on Wednesday night.

Ohio State currently has the longest winning streak in the conference and is in the upper half of the standings before the conference portion of the schedule commences.
