The entire college football world is trying to will the season into existence, hoping a plan can be put in place to allow Ohio State and other big-time programs to have games this fall.
One of the most challenging aspects of keeping a team like OSU on top is a strength and conditioning program. The Buckeyes have one of the best in the business with Mickey Marotti in charge, but it hasn’t been easy to try and mold these finely tuned athletes without the benefit of in-person meetings and workout regimens.
Marotti was made available to members of the media this week and provided an update on how the strength and conditioning program is working through the COVID-19 pandemic. He agreed that it is the most challenging season of his career, but they are being creative with household items like milk jugs, chin-up bars, etc.
