As long as they are keeping score for anything Ohio State football-related, you might as well go ahead and win, even if it is a mythical rating system.
Five-star 2022 Buckeye quarterback commit Quinn Ewers is now the top prospect in the entire class and has joined a very select few prospects since recruiting ratings began keeping track of these sorts of things back in 1999.
That’s because Ewers received a perfect 1.000 Composite Rating from 247Sports, becoming the highest-rated commitment Ohio State has ever had. As long as it stays that way, he passes Terrelle Pryor (0.9997) and Ted Ginn, Jr. (0.9992) as the other two rated in that stratosphere.
More than that, he joins just a handful of prospects to ever receive a 1.000 composite rating. Vince Young, Jadeveon Clowney, Robert Nkemdiche, Rashan Gary (ha), and Ernie Sims are the only others.
Quinn Ewers is now a 1.000 on the 247Sports Composite‼️
The 5 🌟 Ohio State QB commit joins names such as Jadeveon Clowney, Robert Nkemdiche, Rashan Gary, Vince Young, and Ernie Sims as a 1.000 (since 2000)

It’s just another feather in the cap of a 2022 recruiting class that is shaping up to be perhaps even better than the 2021 class that already has four five-stars in the fold with maybe one or two more on the way as we watch to see what happens with Emeka Egbuka and J.T. Tuimoloau.
Ohio State currently has the top-rated class for 2022 by far, but there is obviously a long, long, way to go.
