The NFL Combine has finally arrived to the workout portion. On Thursday the quarterbacks, tight ends and wide receivers were on full display. Texas wide out Devin Duvernay brought a lot of eyes when he ran his 40-yard dash. In his first attempt, Duv ran it in 4.40 seconds. His second attempt beat that mark by just .01 seconds for an official time of 4.39 seconds. After his group, Duvernay was the fastest of the wide receivers.

Duvernay ended the night with the fifth-fastest of all receivers. Not a bad way to start off the combine, unfortunately his running mate Collin Johnson did not run as he is nursing a hip flexor injury.

- Quez Watkins (4.35)
- Denzel Mims (4.38)

Catching the ball has never been an issue for Duvernay, he showed off the hands while running through the gauntlet and catching portions of the workout. Devin Duvernay also posted a vertical jump of 35.5″ and broad jump of 10’1″.
