Cincinnati Bengals fans have high hopes for their team entering the 2021 NFL season. Quarterback Joe Burrow looks to be fully recovered from his ACL injury he suffered last season and assuming his positive progression continues, the Bengals will have the face of their franchise ready to begin the season week one against the Minnesota Vikings.
Prior to Burrow going down with that brutal season-ending injury, we saw flashes of immense promise from the Bengals signal-caller.
LSU fans have had the privilege of watching Burrow overcome adversity and offs during his time at LSU.
And if I could speak for all of LSU nation, I’d say that Bengals fans are in for a fun ride as they get to watch Burrow make his return to the field with a chip on his shoulder.
Last week, former Super Bowl-winning defensive end Chris Canty appeared on ESPN’s Get Up, and he gave his thoughts on just how excited Bengals fans should be for the 2021 NFL season.

Leading the AFC in yards and touchdowns is an extremely tall ask of Burrow this season, yet it’s tough to totally rule it out.

Several teammates and coaches of Burrow have been on the record in saying they believe Burrow has actually improved aspects of his game while rehabbing from his injury.
Burrow has elite company to compete within the AFC North as quarterbacks Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, and Ben Roethlisberger all have competent offensive skill players with above-average overall teams.
If Burrow were to top the list of AFC North quarterbacks, expect big things from this Bengals team in 2021.
If Burrow is the guy we all think he is, the Bengals’ future is quite bright.
