Nebraska defeated Chadron State 87-60

The Nebraska Cornhuskers played an exhibition match against Chadron State on Sunday. It was a solid showing for the Cornhuskers, as they walked away with a 87-60 victory.

Forward Juwan Gary led the way with 23 points and nine rebounds in a little over 19 minutes. The Alabama transfer was efficient shooting 9-17 from the field.

Transfers Sam Griesel and Emmanuel Bandoumel also had good performances. Bandoumel had nine points and two steals. Meanwhile, Grisel had 14 points on 6-9 shooting. He also added seven assists, four rebounds, and a steal.

Griesel also had the biggest highlight of the game. In the second half, he posterized a Chadron State defender on a strong drive to the basket.

Nebraska will play another exhibition game on October 30 against Colorado.
