The bracket for the 2022 NCAA Tournament was revealed on Selection Sunday.
The Lady Vols (23-8) will be the No. 4 seed in the Wichita region.
Tennessee will open tournament play Saturday against No. 13 Buffalo (25-8) at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Knoxville will be a host city for the first two rounds of the tournament.
Also on Saturday, No. 5 Oregon (21-11) will play Belmont (22-7).
The first round winners will play Monday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
All NCAA Tournament games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks.
The Lady Vols finished third in the SEC and lost in the league’s postseason tournament in the semifinals to eventual SEC champion Kentucky.
Buffalo won the MAC Tournament and enters Saturday’s contest with a nine-game winning streak. The Bulls defeated Ball State, 79-75, on March 13.
Oregon lost in the second round of the Pac-12 Tournament. Oregon defeated Connecticut this season.
Belmont won the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament with a 51-29 victory over Tennessee Tech on March 5.
