NCAA Tournament: Kellie Harper discusses Tennessee playing Louisville

NCAA Tournament: Lady Vols’ head coach Kellie Harper discusses Tennessee playing Louisville

No. 4 seed Tennessee (25-8) will play No. 1 Louisville (27-4) Saturday in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.

Tipoff is slated for 4 p.m. EDT at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. ESPN2 will televise the Sweet 16 matchup.

Tennessee head coach Kellie Harper met with media Friday ahead of the matchup. Harper discussed playing Louisville and the challenges the Cardinals present.

“Louisville, first off, is really good defensively,” Harper said. “They play aggressive, an aggressive style. They turn you over, which leads to transition opportunities for them.

“In the halfcourt set, they have a lot of different options. They can shoot the three. They can put the ball on the floor. They can get it inside. They have a lot of different people that can do those things. I think their balance is a challenge. Their defensive aggressiveness is a challenge. They’re going to play hard. You’re not just going to walk out there and out-hustle the team.”
