After an incredible performance on Saturday night against the Ole Miss Rebels, Najee Harris was named the SEC offensive player of the week on Monday.

Harris finished the game with a career-high 23 carries for 206 yards and 5 touchdowns, and he truly carried the team on his back.

Harris, who averaged 9.0 yards per carry, also recorded three receptions for 42 yards.

Last season, Harris’ role became more dominant on offense, especially after Tua Tagovailoa suffered a season-ending injury. Harris finished last season with 1,224 yards rushing on 209 carries. He had a career-best 13 touchdowns.

And this year, it looks as though he’s just getting started. His role is more prominent with Mac Jones’ style of play.

Considering last year, Harris only had 13 touchdowns, and so far in three games this year, Harris has already recorded 10 touchdowns.

It’s going to be exciting to see what Harris does for the Tide this season.

Congrats, Najee!
