By the time you are reading this, Michigan State and Michigan will have already kicked off. There are some notable Spartans in this game that are not dressed for action. The most interesting of these MSU players missing is definitely senior center Matt Allen.

Allen was the starter heading into the season and in the Pinstripe Bowl last year, so it’s a surprise that he is currently seen in sweats on the sidelines. It is unclear if this is due to injury at this time, although the fact that he is undressed would allude to that. However, he also didn’t have a great game against Rutgers.

Sophomore Nick Samac will get the start instead. Samac started four games last year when Allen was injured.

Other notable inactives: RB Anthony Williams Jr., LB Marcel Lewis, WR Laress Nelson, OL Luke Campbell, OL Devontae Dobbs
