Michigan State Basketball fans were hit with a bombshell on Wednesday when the team announced that freshman Mady Sissoko and sophomore Steven Izzo (son of coach Tom Izzo) tested positive for COVID-19. Just a few hours later on Wednesday evening, MSU announced that their game with Iowa will be postponed.

The game was scheduled to be played on Thursday evening. The team did announced that there was an additional COVID-19 positive test that led to the postponement, although the name of that individual was not released.

No other information has been released, but it is promising that it is postponed, but not canceled, which is consistent with how the Big Ten has handled these situations thus far this season.
