LSU favored to repeat as national champions according to D1Baseball poll

Ninety-nine out of the 251 voters (39.4%) said that LSU would go back-to-back as national champions.

[autotag]D1Baseball[/autotag] asked every college baseball program in the country which team they think will win the 2024 national championship. Of all the colleges questioned, 251 of them responded.

Here is what they had to say.

99 out of the 251 voters (39.4%) said that LSU would go back-to-back as national champions. Three teams other than LSU made the list. Florida, Wake Forest and Arkansas are the three other teams that received votes.

20% of the votes were for Wake Forest, 15% of the votes were for Florida and 0.06% of the votes were for Arkansas. Three out of the four teams are all from the SEC. LSU played Florida in the College World Series final last year and they beat Wake Forest to get the chance to play Florida.

LSU lost the best two players in college baseball last season ([autotag]Paul Skenes[/autotag] and [autotag]Dylan Crews[/autotag]) but the Tigers have reloaded via the transfer portal and amazing recruiting classes. It’s shaping up to be another great season in Baton Rouge.
