LSU at Alabama odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Alabama 48, LSU 24

Money line

Alabama (-10000) will cost you 100 times your potential return, or just a $1 profit for every $100 risked. While the Crimson Tide aren’t going to lose, that’s a ridiculous long-term betting strategy.

AVOID.

Against the spread

LSU +28.5 (-107) has the tools to score plenty of points, but Alabama will win comfortably. While the Tigers are just 2-6 ATS in the previous eight meetings, the road team has connected against the number in each of the past five in this series.

Over/Under

OVER 66.5 (-115) is the play here. LSU has rolled up 30.5 PPG this season, and it is coughing up 28.8 PPG. Alabama’s offensive prowess is well documented, and it has posted 45.9 PPG to rank second in the nation. The Tide can be had defensively, however, yielding 219.0 passing yards per game and 20.6 PPG, both rather marginal numbers.

This one should have a final in the 70’s.
