Latest US LBM Coaches Poll released after Week 2. Where is Ohio State?

Do you like where Ohio State sits after two weeks? #GoBucks

The Ohio State football team looked much improved after a Week 1 performance that saw it endure a slow start in the first half, only to win going away vs. Akron.

This time, the Buckeyes put their foot on the gas early and beat another MAC opponent in Western Michigan by a score of 56-0. Both sides of the ball were impressive with over 600 yards of offense and only 99 yards given up on the defensive side of the ball.

So, with all of that in mind, how did the voter in the US LBM Coaches Poll vote when it comes to Ohio State’s place among the country? Did the Buckeyes jump up, fall because of the competition, or remain pat in the No. 2 spot from last week.

It’s the latter. OSU remained No. 2 in the poll, just behind No. 1 Georgia and barely ahead of a hard-charging Texas that just annihilated Michigan on Saturday.
