We are just a week away from the start of the 2022 NFL draft and that means big boards and mock drafts are being filled out and updated almost around the clock.
Early on Thursday morning, CBS Sports analyst Jonathan Jones released his latest and greatest first-round mock draft and two former Tide stars will be selected according to Jones.
It should come as no surprise that offensive tackle Evan Neal is projected to be selected within the top five picks, coming in at No. 5 to the New York Giants.
It also shouldn’t surprise anyone that the explosive Jameson Williams is also projected to be selected in the first round. According to Jones, Williams will be selected by the New Orleans Saints with the No. 19 pick.
That’s two former Tide stars being selected inside the top 20 of the NFL draft. The 2021 NFL draft saw five former members of the Crimson Tide selected within the top 20 picks.
