Tennessee (14-7, 7-2 SEC) defeated Missouri (11-11, 2-7 SEC), 80-69, Sunday at Food City Center.
The Lady Vols led, 46-34, at halftime.
Tennessee’s Jewel Spear totaled 22 points to lead all scorers in the contest. She also recorded seven assists and six rebounds.
Rickea Jackson recorded 19 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Sara Puckett totaled 15 points, five rebounds, one assist and one block for Tennessee.
Karoline Striplin scored eight points, all in the fourth quarter, for the Lady Vols. She also finished with four rebounds. Jasmine Powell totaled seven points, six assists and three assists. She scored all of her points in the second half for the Lady Vols.
Mama Dembele led Missouri with 18 points. She also totaled eight rebounds and three assists.
