Klay Thompson reveals his picks for the NBA Finals inside the Orlando Bubble

When asked to make a prediction for the 2020 NBA Finals, Klay Thompson landed on the Bucks meeting the Clippers in the Orlando Bubble.

For the first time in five seasons, the Golden State Warriors won’t represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals. With the worst record in the league, Golden State’s chances of a postseason run ended long before the seeding rounds began in the Orlando Bubble.

Instead of suiting up, Klay Thompson will be watching the postseason from home for the first time in years. With the Warriors out of the playoff picture, the All-Star shooting guard offered up his prediction for the 2020 edition of NBA Finals.

In an interview with Brandon Williams of Bleacher Report, Thompson revealed his picks for the Western and Eastern Conference champs. According to Thompson, Kawhi Leonard’s Los Angeles Clippers will meet with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Golden State sharpshooter has the Bucks earning the Larry O’Brien Trophy in a seven-game series.

I think it will be Bucks over Clippers in seven games. I think that will be a barn burner of a Finals.

The opening round of the playoffs is set to begin on Monday, Aug. 17. The No. 2 seeded Clippers will host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in round one. After serving a one-game suspension to close out the seeding rounds, Antetokounmpo will rejoin the Bucks to match up with the Orlando Magic.
