We always like to keep our pulse on when some of the Ohio State personalities out there say things of substance. ESPN analyst and former Buckeye quarterback Kirk Herbstreit would qualify. Though he may have a polarizing relationship with some of Buckeye Nation, he generally stands for what’s right in college football and this world.
There’s been many come out in support of the black community after yet another tragic death and the hands of the police, and Herbstreit is just the latest. Hopefully, George Flynn’s senseless death will spur on some real and substantial change in this country. It has to.
Herbie shared the below Tweet to his Twitter profile and it is spot on.
I’m very sad for our country right now. We are so divided-Now more than ever we need caring & empathy towards one another. I STAND with those committed to UNITY..TO CHANGE. What the black community has endured in this country is UNACCEPTABLE!
WE ALL need to come TOGETHER! 🙏🏼— Kirk Herbstreit (@KirkHerbstreit) May 31, 2020
Let’s do better America.
