Round one of the 2020 NFL Draft was again a resounding success for the Ohio State football program. A total of three players were taken on the first nights of all the virtual fun, and now we do it all again Friday night for round two.
The Buckeyes should have at least one more player go Friday — more than likely running back J.K. Dobbins who slipped out of the first round. But where will he go? Will he slide further? Will any other OSU players get selected? Cornerback Damon Arnette ended up surprisingly being a top twenty, first-round pick, so that’s one less guy to watch for.
USA TODAY has mocked up the second round, adjusting everything from what went down Thursday night. And maybe in a bit of a surprise, they have Dobbins falling all the way to the No. 54 pick with the Buffalo Bills. And that’s it. No more scarlet and gray on a Friday night where we are all sure to be couped up inside once again.

“A Devin Singletary-Dobbins tandem could have far more impact than last year’s Singletary-Frank Gore combo,” says writer Nate Davis about Dobbins.
He has two other running backs being taken off the board prior to Dobbins. Davis has Georgia’s D’Andre Swift going to the Bengals at No. 33, and Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor at No. 45 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
I’m not so sure Dobbins will last that long, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Tune in to the draft at 7 PM Eastern tonight to find out.
