Giants’ Kayvon Thibodeaux exits Bengals game with knee injury

New York Giants rookie edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux left Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a knee injury.

The last thing the New York Giants needed on Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals were more injuries. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what they got.

Already down 18 players, rookie edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux suffered an apparent knee injury in the second quarter.

Thibodeaux was cut-blocked and immediately went down grasping his knee. The cart came out but the rookie waived it off before limping off the field and into the medical tent.

Dirty block? You be the judge.

The good news is that when Thibodeaux exited the medical tent, he no longer appeared to be limping and was even laughing and smiling. However, the team quickly ruled him out for the remainder of the game.

In addition to Thibodeaux, wide receiver C.J. Board also exited the game and was ruled out with a rib injury.
