Giants’ Greg Joseph, Jamie Gillan out vs. Commanders

The New York Giants will be without kicker Greg Joseph and punter Jamie Gillan in Week 9 against the Washington Commanders.

The New York Giants wrapped up their week of practice on Friday afternoon in East Rutherford and things ended on a better note than they started.

Despite a massive injury report that grew throughout the week, every player participated in practice on Friday with the exception of punter Jamie Gillan and kicker Greg Joseph.

Gillan was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders before the team even took the field.

Joseph was a new addition to the injury report and with veteran Graham Gano on IR, the Giants will have to add a new kicker over the next 48 hours.

Meanwhile, rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. cleared concussion protocol, and head coach Brian Daboll said he would play in Week 9.
