Giants’ Cam Brown hilariously stopped Eagles punter from drawing a roughing call by catching him mid-flop

Roughing the kicker? More like caring for the kicker.

Though the Eagles had a slim chance at winning the NFC East title on Sunday, the first half of their Week 18 matchup with the Giants couldn’t have gone much worse. It was so bad that they couldn’t even flop properly.

With the Eagles lining up to punt in front of their own end zone, Giants linebacker Cam Brown took his pressure into Eagles punter Braden Mann. The contact easily could have been roughing the kicker (or at least running into the kicker), but Brown did something brilliant in the moment.

He simply caught Mann and refused to let him sell the contact even as the Eagles punter flailed and flopped in his arms.

Mann was so desperate to sell that flop, but Brown carried him until he gave up. It worked too because no penalty was called on the play.

NFL fans also thought that the moment was hilarious. There’s no flopping on Brown’s watch.
