Georgia high school football player MJ Morris has been named the top quarterback prospect in the class of 2022. Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network considers MJ Morris of Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia to be the top prospect at his position in the country.
The last time the top high school quarterback hailed from the state of Georgia it was Trevor Lawrence and/or Justin Fields in the class of 2018. Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs currently have a commitment from Brock Vandagriff, an in-state quarterback, who has a shot to be the top quarterback recruit of the class of 2022.
It’s still very early to evaluate the class of 2022. Members of the class of 2022 are only rising juniors and many of them have only played one year of varsity level football.
Georgia football recently received a commitment from one of Morris’s talented high school teammates. Will Morris consider attending the University of Georgia if Brock Vandagriff stays true to his commitment?
