Georgia football schedule: Bulldogs’ three toughest games in 2020

A look at the 2020 Georgia football schedule and a dive into the Bulldogs’ toughest games.

2. Georgia vs Florida (Jacksonville) – Oct. 31st

The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party will take place this year on Halloween in Jacksonville.

The Dawgs have taken the last three meetings by a combined score of 102-41.

All offseason, Kirby Smart has heard about how Dan Mullen is turning the Florida program around and how the Gators will take down the Dawgs this year.

But then again, he heard the same talk last season and then went on to beat Mullen and the Gators yet again, this time in a more exciting finish. Georgia won 24-17.

Florida is on the rise – there’s no denying that. I’m not going to sit here and say that Florida is a bad football team. That’s not the case by any means.

But what people have to remember is that Kirby is not slowing down at Georgia. Sure, Florida is getting better. But so is Georgia.

Georgia is recruiting better, snagging better transfer players and returning more talent from last year’s team than Florida is.

At the end of the day, Georgia is just the better team with better players and better coaches.

It’ll be a fight, but Florida still has some work to do. Who will quarterback the Gators this fall? Will it be Kyle Trask or Emory Jones? They’re both solid players, but do either of them really have what it takes to guide Florida to an SEC Championship Game?
