Georgia football OT Jacob Hood enters NCAA transfer portal

Hood is a former three-star recruit

University of Georgia offensive tackle Jacob Hood, who was a member of the class of 2022, has entered the transfer portal. The 6-foot-8, 350-pound offensive tackle did not see the field much during his time in Athens, so he is likely looking to transfer somewhere where he can play more.

Hood, a redshirt freshman, will have four years of eligibility where he decides to transfer to. Hood could remain with Georgia.

Hood played football for Hillsboro High School in Nashville, Tennessee. Hood was rated as a three-star recruit by many of the major recruiting sites coming into Georgia.

Kirby Smart and Georgia are losing star offensive tackle Broderick Jones to the 2023 NFL draft. Several other Georgia offensive linemen, such as center Sedrick Van Pran, have to make NFL draft decisions in the next couple of days.
