The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to safety Emory Floyd. Floyd is a member of the class of 2022, so he’s a junior in high school. He is not yet rated on many recruiting sites.
Fans can expect that to change based on some recent recruiting attention he’s received. On Sept. 9, 2020, Floyd received scholarship offers from Georgia, Tennessee, and Minnesota.
Floyd has ideal length for a safety at six-foot-two, but he’s skinny and will look to add on weight to his frame before competing in the SEC, Big Ten, or another conference.
Floyd has excellent speed. In fact, he runs track for his high school. Floyd has run a 10.5 hundred meter dash, which would make him one of the fastest players on Georgia’s roster.
Floyd plays for Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. He was quite excited to receive an offer from Kirby Smart and the University of Georgia.
In fact, he pinned the Tweet of Georgia’s scholarship offer showing how much it means to him.
