Just one day ago Georgia tied the knot on college football’s top ranked recruiting class for 2020.
On Thursday, though, Kirby Smart shifted his attention to the class of 2021, where Georgia just lost a commitment from West Forsyth (Clemmons, N.C.) offensive lineman Jared Wilson.
Wilson, a three star offensive guard, decommitted from Georgia via a tweet he sent out on Thursday morning.
Wilson is a high ranking 3-star prospect, checking in as the No. 354 overall player in the country. Additionally, he is the 16th ranked offensive guard and the No. 23 player in the state of North Carolina.
At 6-4 and 325 pounds, Wilson has the ideal size to play in the trenches at an SEC school.
The decommitment of Wilson leaves Georgia with two players in the class of 2021 right now. Thankfully, one of those two is five-star quarterback Brock Vandagriff and the other is top-50 prospect David Daniel.
Please respect my decision, my recruitment has officially re-opened. pic.twitter.com/tYa3249xm8
