Georgia Bulldogs have landed a commitment from wide receiver Daquayvious Sorey. Sorey is a member of the class of 2023 and is ranked as the No. 9 wide receiver in his class. Sorey is considered a four-star prospect.
Sorey plays at football Graceville High School in Graceville, Florida. Graceville is located in the panhandle of Florida and is very close to the border of Georgia and Florida.
Daquayvious’s talented cousin, Xavian Sorey, a four-star class of 2021 linebacker, has signed with the University of Georgia and is enrolled in school at Athens. The duo will hopefully play together in college.
The younger Sorey has received recruiting interest from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and more. In the end, Georgia has landed a commitment from the four-star sophomore wide receiver.
Sorey started for the varsity as an eighth-grader. He shows impressive ability to track the ball in his highlights. On top of that, Sorey is a solid route runner and is great at gaining separation at the high school level. The four-star recruit still has plenty of time to improve his game. He’s 6-foot-2 and weighs 185 pounds.
Sorey announced his decision via his Twitter account:
