Four-star offensive tackle Malik Agbo will take official visit to Texas for Oklahoma State game

Another big-time recruit is added to the list this weekend.

Another name has been added to the already impressive list of recruits expected to attend the Texas-Oklahoma State game this weekend.

The highest priority recruit that will be present is undoubtedly five-star quarterback Arch Manning from the 2023 class, but numerous 2022 targets that Texas is hoping to land will be in attendance as well.

Four-star prospect Malik Agbo was added to the list on Tuesday, announcing that he would be taking his official visit to Austin on Oct. 16. The 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive lineman is rated the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Washington and the No. 26 offensive tackle in the country for the 2022 cycle, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

Texas extended an offer to Agbo on Feb. 15. He released a top five schools list in July of LSU, Miami, Arizona State, Florida and Oklahoma. It appears that Steve Sarkisian’s staff has made up ground since then.

According to 247Sports’ national recruiting editor Brandon Huffman, Agbo has the size to play tackle, as well as the strength to slide inside and play guard.

Considering Texas’ recent struggles along the offensive line, landing a couple more blue-chip offensive lineman for the 2022 class is crucial.
