Texas appears to be in good standing with one of the top linebackers in the nation for the 2024 recruiting class.
Four-star linebacker Dylan Williams announced the top seven schools left in his recruitment on Sunday. Texas made the cut alongside Alabama, Oregon, Penn State, Miami, Michigan, and UCLA.
Williams is rated the No. 10 linebacker in the country and the No. 17 overall prospect in California for the 2024 cycle. The Long Beach Poly product recorded 79 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception in 2022.
Texas is scheduled to host Williams for an official visit on June 23.
