Texas has been targeting a talented four-star cornerback out of Dallas, Texas.
Ishmael Ibraheem is currently rated the No. 9 cornerback in the 2021 recruiting class according to 247 Sports. He’s a two-sport athlete at Dallas Kimball in football and track and field. As a sophomore in 2018, Ibraheem was a first-team all-district selection.
He’s received offers from numerous well-respected programs such as Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Georgia, LSU, and Michigan. On Wednesday, Ibraheem narrowed down his list of schools to ten contenders.

It will be an extremely competitive battle to land Ibraheem, as the list is full of SEC and Big 12 programs. Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Baylor, Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and Texas A&M made the cut alongside Texas. It’s unclear which of the ten schools will receive a visit.
The Longhorns sent an offer to Ibraheem on June 6, 2019. He’s a highly-sought after prospect with great physical traits that could develop into a dominant player at the collegiate level.
