Former UNC guard Anthony Harris takes visit

Former UNC basketball guard Anthony Harris took a visit to Rhode Island as he seeks a new home in the transfer portal.

For the second-straight year, there will be some roster changes for the UNC basketball program in terms of the transfer portal. Following UNC’s run to the national championship game, the Tar Heels received good news with the return of four of their starting lineup.

They also received some bad news in terms of the transfer portal.

Dawson Garcia and [autotag]Anthony Harris[/autotag] were the first two players to enter the transfer portal and were followed later on by Kerwin Walton. While Garcia has found a home, it appears as if Harris is getting closer to making a decision.

The guard took to social media to reveal he visited Rhode Island:

Harris spent a few seasons at UNC and battled injuries which limited his time on the court. In those three seasons, Harris averaged 2.6 points per game and shot 48.1 percent from the field.

He missed most of this past season after head coach Hubert Davis revealed he was unavailable to play back in January. Davis did not reveal the reasoning behind the decision.
