Former Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs can truly do it all. In 2022, his only season with the Crimson Tide, he was the team’s leading rusher and receiver. Now, Gibbs is expected to hear his name called sometime within the first 50 or so picks in the upcoming 2023 NFL draft.
It truly depends on the creator of the mock draft, but Gibbs is a fringe first-round prospect, with some mocks predicting he will be selected early in the second round.
Former New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum, who now serves as an ESPN NFL analyst, argued with former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky over Gibbs.
Tannenbaum believes Buffalo is the perfect spot for him because the team has been needing a solidified RB1 for quite some time and justifies it even further by talking about how Gibbs’ versatility would help take some pressure off of star quarterback Josh Allen.
