Former Longhorn Moro Ojomo carted off field due to head, neck injury

Scary injury for the former Longhorn.

The worst aspect of sports is when athletes go down with injuries.

Unfortunately for former Texas defensive lineman Moro Ojomo that was the case on Thursday during the Philadelphia Eagles’ preseason matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

As for how it happened, Ojomo was pursuing the quarterback and ended up colliding with a teammate. Ojomo did not get up. He was stabilized by medical staff and carted off with what was believed to be a neck injury. After the game, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni revealed to ESPN that Ojomo and Tyrie Cleveland, who also went down with a neck injury, were moving their extremities.

“I haven’t talked to the doctors yet, but it sounds like they’re moving around,” coach Nick Sirianni said. “I don’t know anything else besides that.”
