Florida Gators football in the running for two uncommitted five-stars

The Gators already have the No. 5 recruiting class in the country in 2021, but that ranking could potentially get even better.

9. DE Tunmise Adeleye

The particulars: Five-star prospect from Katy (Texas) Tompkins
Last month’s rank: No. 7
The buzz: Adeleye recently got bumped up to a five-star prospect shortly after decommitting from Ohio State, which was a major blow to Day’s quest to sign the best class in the history of modern-day recruiting. But now Adeleye is heavily considering Alabama, so you can see how juicy this recruitment has become very quickly. It could turn out to be the decision that decides which school wins the recruiting crown. Adeleye, however, is also considering Florida and Texas A&M, and the Aggies may actually now have the inside track because geography is a factor. For a while, Florida seemed to be in a great position when Adeleye was at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG and around fellow Gators commitment Kamar Wilcoxson. But now that Adeleye is in the Houston area again, Texas A&M could be the team to beat. Adeleye had been committed for months, but now he’s on this list. Recruiting is fun.
