NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah is high on several Texas players for the 2024 NFL draft.
Jeremiah, a former scout for three different NFL teams, released his first version of NFL draft prospect rankings this week. Five Longhorns were included in his ranking of the top 50 players.
Much of the attention throughout the season was on Texas defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat. Understandably, considering Sweat took home the 2023 Outland Trophy awarded annually to the nation’s top interior defensive lineman.
However, two other Longhorns have emerged as the top draft prospects out of Austin. Defensive tackle Byron Murphy and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell are likely to become the first two Texas players selected in April.
